My love for you can manifest
itself as a subtle
exercise that repeats
endlessly as an expression
of my love for you.
With this exercise I
expand my capacity
for loving you by abstracting
my love for you and abstracting
that abstraction of my love for you,
and so on, allowing
me to love you more, and to express
my love for you in grander
and more meaningful gestures.
This poem exercises its
love for you as it conjures
the notion of A Great Love Poem,
and An Enormous Love Poem.
And now that you read this, the last
sentence in all of my large love poem,
you demonstrate that you can accommodate
my love for you
in all its largeness without
overflowing or being disturbed,
and, to me, that makes you even more loveable
and deserving of A Larger Love Poem.
